Marcus has a broad legal background and has, in parallel with the dispute resolution practice, worked extensively with mergers and acquisitions and general corporate advice. Today his work is primarily focused on dispute resolution and he represents clients in commercial disputes in arbitral proceedings – institutional and ad hoc – and in court. Ongoing and recently concluded assignments include many complex international and domestic disputes, including an insurance dispute involving industrial product development and several unrelated gas market disputes. He is regularly appointed in corporate disputes, including matters regarding director and auditor liability, and he has considerable experience from disputes within the energy and financial services sectors. His dispute resolution practice also includes public procurement and assignments within the firm’s other specialist areas Media, IT and Telecoms. Marcus also has experience from mediation and takes assignments as arbitrator.
